Ways to Dress Up Your Pickup

Pickup trucks can look so plain Jane, in my opinion — IF you don’t do anything to fancify them!  Luckily there are lots of truck accessories you can get to dress up your pickup.  Particularly the bed part, which I think can easily be the ugliest part of a pickup truck!

Truck bed liners make a great way to dress up your pickup — not to mention, they save your truck from a lot of wear and tear.  Instead of worrying about stuff scratching or denting up your bed any time you are hauling or even just storing something in your bed.  You can go a couple of different ways with this.  Some manufacturers sell durable plastic bed liners that are custom-molded to fit the bed of your truck, but you can also get a heavy duty spray coating that does almost as well — and, I think, looks nicer and less utilitarian.

Tonneau covers are another great way to make your pickup truck look a little better.  Rather than leaving your bed gaping wide open, a tonneau cover gives it a sleek, sporty look.  Added benefits are that it hides whatever you have in your truck bed at the moment, and that it improves gas mileage because it reduces the amount of wind resistance that you get from an open bed.

Truck tool boxes are one of the most stylish things you can put on a pickup truck, in my opinion — especially those nice chrome ones!  Even better, they lock, which allows you to store stuff in your truck without needing to worry about it being stolen.

There are other ways, of course, to make your pickup truck stand out from all the rest.  The sky — and your budget — are the limit!
