Accessories for Truck Toolboxes
By panap in Automotive | 0 comments
When you need accessories for truck toolboxes such as tool totes and trailer tongue boxes, it’s the little things that count.
Quality accessories such as tool box clamps and molded trays are more than affordable. Usually ranging from about five to twenty dollars, you won’t need to scrimp or compromise quality on these items.
Tool box clamps are required in order to install most crossover tool boxes to your truck. Tool box clamps should come in sets of two and attach to your standard, low-profile or deep-style crossover tool box.
Molded trays are also usually standard in crossover tool boxes, with the exception of some Slimline or Deep and Wide models, and can also fit some chest boxes. Adding a molded tray as a second accessory in addition to the organized space already in the tool box makes sense for smaller items that might otherwise get lost, such as measuring tape and nails. Molded trays should be made of durable injection molded plastic, and be fairly deep (about three inches.)
After you’ve outfitted your truck with the toolbox that suit its make and model, choosing the right accessories ensures you have your tools when you need them and where you need them.
